Major Brazilian mining groups launched expansion projects at three low-grade iron ore mines in Minas Gerais in June. Due to declining ore grades, full mineral processing lines adopt multi-stage magnetic separation combinations: drum magnetic separators for rough sorting, dry powder electromagnetic separators for intermediate treatment, and self-cleaning rotary grate magnets for final purification.

The tender requires equipment to adapt to high-clay and high-humidity ores, with anti-clogging magnetic circuits and large throughput as core bidding advantages. Brazil cut import tariffs on industrial machinery by 8%, lowering landing costs for Chinese equipment. Multiple Chinese magnetic separator manufacturers joined the tender, and domestic dry-wet combined separation solutions attracted key attention from mine owners.
